Alan Sugar slammed for the former Apprentice star and replied: “Why don’t you shut up idiot!”
Alan Sugar has reprimanded controversial television personality Katie Hopkins after she criticised celebrities for their gushing tributes about Cilla Black, following her death on Sunday (2 August 2015). Retweeting her original comment, “Understand people love Cilla”.
The tweet was met immediately with shock from her followers, who hit back at the “vile” and “heartless” post.
A furious Lord Sugar, after sharing his own tribute to Cilla, was quick to put Katie in her place.
Hopkins immediately responded with a sarky comment, but Lord Sugar gave it even shorter shrift.
Still unhappy with her tactless remarks he added: “Enough with the controversy BS you need to know where to draw the line”.
Katie, who finished as runner-up in the last series of Celebrity Big Brother, replied: “Calm down @lord_sugar, you know you love your favourite Apprentice really”.
But, unsurprisingly, Katie didn’t seem too bothered about getting a telling off from the entrepreneur.

Hopkins then ended with: “When we show respect we have a minute’s silence”.
