Los Angeles Lakers, Kobe Bryant Keep Sinking to New Depths
Hopefully, Kobe doesn’t want to, and with his recent expression of desires to play on the 2016 U.S. basketball team, that would be a fitting end to the legendary career of Bryant, winning Olympic gold for the third time.

Immediately after Heat-Lakers games the past few seasons, Wade often sought out Bryant for both advice on his mental approach to the game as well as to check on his injury rehab. Kobe is averaging only 16.5 points per game, which, over a complete season, would be his lowest scoring average since the 1997-1998 season, and he is shooting an unthinkable 21% from three-point range.
Although the Los Angeles Lakers are listing Kobe Bryant as “questionable” to play tonight against the Orlando Magic at Amway Center, his coach, Byron Scott, indicated Bryant likely won’t be available to face the Magic. “I saw the ball going in the basket but I didn’t necessarily know it was myself putting the ball in there a lot”, Jackson said. “The level of concern is pretty up there right now”.
Or… he could’ve just been saying “eff that eye” because he didn’t care and it’s a hilarious thing to say.
“It’s wear and tear”, he said. “It’s soreness, something I can knock out with a little rest and treatment”.
Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks home in the last quarter, finishing with 24 points and 8 rebounds.
“His answer was ‘This might be my a year ago, ‘” Scott said. “You’ve still got to attack the rim, that’s the bottom line to get to the free throw line”.
Maybe it was the nostalgia of playing in Madison Square Garden for possibly the last time.
Love scored 22 points and had 19 rebounds for the Cavaliers, who haven’t lost since the season opener against Chicago. It was his seventh career game with at least 20 points and 20 rebounds.
With every passing game, it begins to look more and more like this will be Bryant’s last season.
“We need to pick it up”, said Harris.
But in an interview with CBS Sports on Saturday at John Jay College, where Bryant dragged his aching body for a 2 1/2 hour practice between games, he disputed the notion that all of his shots and demands are detracting from the future plan.

“(Finishing) is something that we’re really struggling with and it’s cost us”, coach Scott Skiles told the team’s official website.
