Los Angeles police: ’90s rap group seeking comeback posted video of gun
The wife of one Los Angeles police officer told CBS Los Angeles that “a lot of the wives are scared” their husbands will never make it home.

“The investigation revealed that the film was made by members of an early 1990s rap group no longer in fashion”, LAPD said in a news release on Tuesday, without identifying the group.
Police did not give the name of the rap group.
Chief Charlie Beck said at a police commission meeting that a secondary suspect had been arrested and a primary suspect was negotiating to surrender. “His attorney is in contact with Robbery-Homicide Division”.
A video posted to Instagram last week showing several men in a auto with a handgun parked behind a police officer in Los Angeles raised concern among officers and their families.
Google A Google map shows the intersection at Sepulveda and Victory boulevards, where police said a man threw a 40-ounce bottle through the officers window.
The department’s robbery-homicide detectives say the unidentified officer belongs to the department’s Central Division and that the three suspects, who were inside the vehicle when the video was recorded, have been identified.
The criminal investigation remains open, however.
According to the LAPD, the suspect in custody has a prior firearm conviction.
Police were working in pairs this weekend due to what was seen at the time as a credible threat, and they were still under the impression there was a threat on Saturday night, NBC4 reports, when Van Nuys police shot and killed a suspect after their vehicle’s rear window was shattered.

“A felony warrant for his arrest for carrying a firearm in a vehicle with a prior – accompanied by a search warrant – was obtained by investigators and was executed by SWAT in the city of Downey”, the statement said.
