Fifth Harmony got picked for Favorite Group, and then Shawn Mendes was chosen for Favorite Breakout Artist, along with Meghan Trainor’s Title for this year’s Favorite Album during the 2016 People’s Choice Awards. The award for Favorite Comedic Movie Actress went to Melissa McCarthy, even though my inkling said it should have been Amy Schumer.

A stage invader inspired by Kanye West disrupted the People’s Choice Awards last night (January 6).
The hosts of U.S. television show The Talk were on stage accepting their award for Favourite Daytime TV Hosting Team when the unnamed male bounded into shot, took the microphone and casually name-dropped a few United States rappers.
He ended his speech by breaking into the song See You Again, a touching tune from the film’s soundtrack.
In true Vin Diesel acceptance speech fashion, the “Furious 7” actor followed his acceptance of the awards for favorite action movie and favorite movie with a brief, emotional tribute to his late co-star Paul Walker.
The scene resembled the time Kanye stormed the stage at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards to take the mic from Taylor Swift after she won the award for Best Female Video over Kanye’s personal choice, Beyonce. Over the years, she has won numerous awards for her acts of kindness.
Established in 1975, the People’s Choice Awards have become somewhat of a pre-game for the main awards show season.
Of course, it wouldn’t be an awards show without some sort of wardrobe malfunction.
