Louis CK debuts new web-only TV series with Steve Buscemi
Written and directed by C.K. and shot multi-camera with long lenses in what might be called a variable proscenium-style, mostly on one set, “Horace and Pete” unfolds over the course of 67 minutes like a stage play, and seemingly in real time.

Louis CK has surprised fans by releasing online the first episode of a sitcom he has been secretly developining.
Now that Louie is on extended hiatus, everyone was wondering what he was up to next.
Louis and Buscemi play the titular roles of Horace and Pete, respectively, and are joined by familiar faces including Nick DiPaolo, Kurt Metzger, Rebecca Hall, and several other cast members from ‘Louie’. “Horace and Pete’ episode one is available for download. $5. The comedian alerted his fans to the series” existence with an email on Saturday, which announced that the first episode of the series was available for download on his website for $5.
Complicating matters is a foul-mouthed bartender (Alan Alda) refusing to serve mixed drinks to the local hipsters when he’s not going off on racist or homophobic rants.
The new project comes just weeks after FX Networks CEO John Landgraf expressed at the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour earlier this month that the fate of C.K.’s show Louie was up in the air.

It’s been noted this must’ve been filmed pretty recently as it’s got references to current events, like current Super Bowl malarkey as well as Donald Trump and all the goofy shenanigans he’s gotten up to lately! Paul Simon wrote the show’s theme song. “Go here to watch it. We hope you like it. Regards, Louis”.
