Louis Rams: Jeff Fisher Not Considering a Quarterback Change

There is beefed up security at games this weekend in the wake of the Paris terrorist attacks. The Bears have potentially found a running game they have so desperately needed and will require it to keep up with a rookie running sensation on the Rams sideline.

Finding a way to continue one of the most efficient stretches of his career could become more hard for Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler because of another injury to wide receiver Alshon Jeffery.

The Chicago Bears went into St. Louis and absolutely dominated a Rams team many had just assumed would take care of business against a team missing arguably their best player on either side of the ball in Matt Forte and Pernell McPhee. A tough 31-23 home loss to the Green Bay Packers was followed by embarrassing setbacks to the Cardinals (48-23) and Seahawks (26-0) and three games into the season, Fox’s newest club was winless and had been outscored by a combined 105-46.

November 09, 2015 – Chicago Bears Running Back Jeremy Langford (33) [20576] dives in for a touchdown during the NFL football game between the Chicago Bears and the San Diego Chargers at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California. The Bears won 37-13.

Losing Jeffery is one thing, but the team could also be without Eddie Royal which would really deplete the number of healthy bodies for the Bears.

“I think he’s probably even a little bit too hyped up for this game, and I think he’ll learn as he goes on”, Welker said of Foles. “I’d be getting clowned by everybody if I got caught”.

-Fourth-round pick Jeremy Langford led the Bears in both rushing and receiving as he combined for 182 yards and two touchdowns on 27 touches (109 receiving, 73 rushing). Quarterback Jay Cutler led the team to fourth-quarter wins over the Raiders and Chiefs.

Based on his postgame interview, Chicago Bears Martellus Bennett had a few words for the St. Louis Rams. According to CBS Sports, it was the longest catch by a tight end since 1999. They brought thousands of fans to the Edward Jones Dome, which had a season-best 58,663 tickets distributed, about 8,000 shy of capacity. “I like being the bully”. He also made the right checks, like going to a run on third-and-10, and Langford took a toss left for the first down late in the game to help ice the victory.

Miller finished the game with five catches for 107 yards, and he scored another touchdown in the second quarter on a pass from Cutler in the end zone. The Jets fall to 5-4 but worryingly have lost three of their last four games now to undermine a lot of the good work they achieved earlier in the season. With the Bears’ defense focusing on stopping rookie running back Todd Gurley quarterback Nick Foles was inefficient, completing less than 50 percent of his passes as the Rams converted just 28.5 percent of their third downs. Manning threw four interceptions and had just 35 yards, finishing the day with -7 points – yes, that’s a negative – in standard-scoring leagues before he was benched in the third quarter for Brock Osweiler.

“At this point I’m just trying to get better from week to week”, Cutler said. “I just happened to look over my right shoulder and saw 22 coming across”.

“Absolutely. That’s why we play the game”.

Foles added: “There’s no pointing fingers in situations like this”.
