Our landlord here in the Tavern feels United have a serious chance of winning the Premier League, and feel if they can maintain an element of consistency, then there is no reason why Van Gaal’s army cannot win the title!

Gary Neville believes Manchester United’s teenage sensation Anthony Martial has transformed the team.
LOUIS van Gaal was spreading a message of pride and joy at Old Trafford after Manchester United climbed to the top of the Premier league on Saturday.
Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger, Herrera and Carrick are all competing in United’s squad for starting roles in central midfield, which is why it’s so hard for van Gaal to pick the same starting XI every week, and that competition is very healthy.
Van Gaal was quick to acknowledge that the former Monaco man – like the rest of his teammates – can continue to improve.
Anthony Martial delivered another impressive performance in United’s 3-0 win over Sunderland on Saturday and the 19-year-old says he is determined to live up to his significant transfer fee.
Over the past two seasons, Manchester United have seen many of their key players depart the club including the likes of Robin Van Persie, Javier Hernandez, Jonny Evans, Angel di Maria and Rafael da Silva to name a few. “I got 20 minutes the other night, the same [on Saturday] and hopefully I can integrate my way back into the team”.
“It’s fantastic to play for that crowd which is very positive but also for the opponents”.
“Last season at this stage I think we were in 13th position in the league table, so I’m a happy coach”, van Gaal told reporters. In addition, less than 60 seconds into the second half, they conceded again to Rooney before Mata completed the rout in the last minute.
“I know exactly where I stand”, the Dutchman said.
And while the one-time France worldwidewas not amongst the scorers this weekend, he was still able to provide the assist for Wayne Rooney’s strike, while playing a vital role throughout the game as United went top of the Premier League table.
“He is back to his best level”, manager Arsene Wenger said of Sanchez.
