Louis van Gaal making Victor Valdes’ life a nightmare with humiliating
This is despite signing Adam Bogdan on a free transfer during the summer, and seeing the goalkeeper show his shot-stopping ability in a penalty shootout win over Carlisle United.

Liverpool are reported to be lining up a surprise move for Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes when the transfer window opens.
Former Spain and Barcelona keeper Valdes has been ordered to turn up at the club’s Carrington headquarters only when Van Gaal’s first team are NOT there.
However, he has now got on manager Louis van Gaal’s bad side when he refused to play for the reserves earlier in the summer.
Blues stopper Asmir Begovic has been deputising in the absence of preferred choice Thibaut Courtois, who is likely to be sidelined until December after undergoing knee surgery.
On the other hand, Liverpool’s main keeper Simon Mignolet has already proven to not be a reliable man ever since his inconsistent sparks of brilliance at the end of last season and Brad Jones is simply not up to the task.
Valdes clearly has no future at United and he’s not even been handed an official squad number this season but it remains to be seen whether van Gaal would be willing to do business with a direct rival such as Chelsea or Liverpool.

Additionally, the Mirror explains that Van Gaal took the decision to make Valdes train only with youth-team coaches two weeks ago. It is also unlikely (nearly impossible) for Manchester United to have any negotiations with Liverpool due to their fierce rivalry in the English top flight.
