Louis van Gaal sees team return to fitness ahead of Swansea match
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has seemingly questioned the rules surrounding time added on.

United’s poor run over the past six weeks has seen them slip out of the top four and even with that drought-breaking win they are nine points behind leaders Arsenal.
Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney scored in the second half against Swansea City for United’s first win since November 21 against Watford.
Rooney netted his 238th goal for the club to take him into second in their all-time list, above Denis Law and behind only Sir Bobby Charlton. Only that it shall raise the confidence and that it shall lower the pressure because the players have a lot of pressure to do it in 90 minutes in a certain time against an opponent and that is not so easy.
And on the victory and how the side players, Van Gaal said as reported by manutd.com: “We’ve started the new year very well”. It was a great goal, though, with his left foot behind his right foot you can not imagine what a goal that is.
He also passed another former Red Devils striker in the Premier League scoring charts with his 188th in the competition.
The goals today will provide the side with a huge boost and most importantly the attackers.
With the win now giving United some hope of finishing in the Champions League places, Van Gaal was delighted. “We don’t give any chances away in the first half and we played with three defenders”.
After a dour first half the early goal after the break from United did change the pace of the game but despite the result it wasn’t a classic display from the hosts with the visitors coming close on multiple occasions.
Those travails called into question van Gaal’s decision to allow strikers Robin van Persie, James Wilson and Javier Hernandez – in the best form of his career for Bayer Leverkusen – to leave Old Trafford without being replaced. “It is looking at what has happened and what can improve, as a team but also as an individual player”, van Gaal said.
“I have to say I enjoyed the first half more than the second, but we scored in the second and that’s the big difference”.

Van Gaal said: “Phil Jones is injured, and it’s more or less the same injury as before”. We are training but scoring goals is a quality.
