Seventeen-year-old Johnson is the bookies’ favourite to win, which would make her the youngest X Factor victor in the show’s history.

While Reggie “N” Bollie put together a Spice Girls and Outhere Brothers medley performing a mix of Spice Up Your Life and Boom Boom Boom and Kriss Kross’ Jump.

Each act will perform twice, including a duet with a famous singer, before one act is evicted.

The X Factor continues tonight at 8pm on ITV.

Louisa sang And I Am Telling You with her mentor Rita Ora with the pair fighting to be top vocals.

And according to a report in the Sunday Mirror today, X Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini plans to sign her Groups act Reggie N Bollie to her new record label, regardless of the outcome of tonight’s grand finale.

An X Factor spokesman said: “Louisa has been sick and was ordered on voice rest yesterday, so her homecoming performance unfortunately had to be cancelled at the last moment”.

The competition was keen to showcase its past successes with last year’s victor Ben Haenow uniting with 2006 victor Leona Lewis for a duet of his new release Slamming Doors and her hit Run.

Rita added: “We’ve found a star anyway”.

A victor is expected to be announced on Sunday night’s final.

It’s been great. I believe he’s going to have an incredible career’.

“X Factor” bosses may have tried to scrub James from the show’s history after he was dropped for his controversial behavior following his win in 2013, but we’ll always remember him for bringing dupstep to the ITV talent show. “I want to come back next year after I’ve sold a massive album, massive single, I want to come back and sell out Wembley”.
