Mostly, people were amazed she’s only 17…

In a star studied finale weekend, which included live performances from Adele, One Direction, Rod Stewart and Coldplay, Louisa was crowned the overall victor of the singing competition.

Earlier in the show she performed a rendition of It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World and had even more praise for the teenager.

Cowell told her: “That is what is called The X Factor. I think we’ll stay friends for a long time”. It’s just fantastic. It’s just insane and I just appreciate everyone so much for keeping me here, I really do.

Nick Grimshaw agreed, saying, ‘You guys could win, I’ve never seen a reaction like that in here’. You have no idea how much this means to me’.

The duo said: “Thank you Cheryl for believing in us and making us share that belief”.

As The X Factor’s original novelty act way back in 2005, Chico paved the way for the likes of Jedward, Rylan and Wagner when performed his own song “Chico Time” for the judges.

And songstress Adele said Hello to us with her big comeback single, just as the 1D boys said goodbye – ah, the irony!

She tackled Lay Me Down by Sam Smith at bootcamp and sailed through to the next stage. I’m so excited to be here.

“I always love the show”.

Louisa Johnson is the victor of X Factor 2015.

That was posted on December 11th, however, as the article goes on to state, “It is likely the message was scheduled on Tweet Deck but whoever is in charge of her social media didn’t change the date”. I just want to take the chance to say thank you you have been a pleasure to work with.

The beef between Rylan and Gary Barlow defined series nine of the show in 2012, and oh how we LOL’d when the flamboyant contestant addressed their feud by walking through the doors singing one of Take That’s hits.

The show began with a recap of Saturday night before the rest of the finalists returned to the stage for the traditional Sunday night group song.
