Love returns to Cleveland, uncertain for Game Three
Golden State took a 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals with a crushing 110-77 win on Sunday, and now is unbeaten straight up in its past seven against Cleveland heading into Wednesday night’s Warriors vs. Cavaliers betting matchup at Quicken Loans Arena. He was especially abused by Shaun Livingston in Game 1, and in Game 2 Draymond Green went off in part because Cavs defenders were helping off him to assist Irving. “We have to figure out how we can help one another”, he said. “He had an unbelievable game”.

So when Cleveland suddenly goes 12-of-44, with J.R. Smith hard-pressed to find a shot (nine shots total; 2-of-7 from 3-point range), and with Kevin Love and LeBron James each going 3-of-9 from 3-point range, and Kyrie Irving going 1-of-7, the Cavs can’t score.
Love left for good early in the third period after looking disoriented on the floor.
Under the long-used former NBA Finals format, Game 3 of this Golden State-Cleveland matchup would have been played Tuesday night.
Cavs coach Tyronn Lue remains optimistic.

Stephen Curry played horribly in Game 1; however, the Warriors still won on the backs of their reserves. Cleveland has never won an National Basketball Association championship, and this year’s team is healthier and more talented than the one that pushed the Warriors to six games in last year’s Finals. “But I’ll be surprised if we do it twice on the road, I’ll tell you that much”.
All those things need to happen for the Cavaliers to win, but as the first two games showed us, they aren’t happening.
“The next couple days, I won’t be reflecting”, James said.
“I got myself in a lot of trouble tonight”, he said.
Oh, I think the Warriors are the better team.
Draymond Green was the latest Warrior to shine as the team’s All-Star backcourt was afforded another quiet game, the power forward scoring a game-high 28 points as Golden State opened a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.
Despite making history in the regular season, the Warriors have been far from ideal this postseason. “Danny said it’s not the Tour de France”.
“It’s 2-0 [now]. Everything changes when we go to Cleveland”.
Love was inadvertently struck in the back of his head by Golden State forward Harrison Barnes while fighting for a rebound.
The Cavaliers would love to have the Warriors’ problems. However, Love appeared dazed in the third quarter and removed himself.
JR Smith needs to bounce back and in a big way or he is going to be remembered this year less for his three-point shooting abilities and more of his second consecutive finals where he has gone missing.
The Mild-Mannered Reaction: The Warriors did what they were supposed to: protect the home court.
“Obviously we are disappointed that Steph will not be available this summer, but we understand these situations arise and we are fully supportive of his decision”, Colangelo said. Their 77 points in Game 2 was their lowest in the postseason since they beat Boston 74-69 in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semis on May 16, 2008. In fact, the rout by the Warriors is likely why this year’s Game 2 was down slightly from last year’s battle between the same two teams on June 7, 2015.

I don’t think Warriors-Cavaliers quite shapes up like that, but we shall see.
