Low cost iPhone 6C tipped for a summertime arrival
A 4-inch iPhone, dubbed the iPhone 6C, was said to be in the making before the launch of iPhone 6S this year. Because the iPhone 5s is more popular than the iPhone 5c, we think Apple is likely to launch an upgraded iPhone 5s. The iPhone 5C was the last affordable variant of the iPhone, missing TouchID and with less impressive design traits and specs to boast with.

The possibility of a 4-inch iPhone 6c is a highly debated topic in the Apple community.
As a final point, we should point out that Wang this past summer predicted a 4-inch iPhone 6c device would hit store shelves in 2015.
Damage caused by inadvertent water creeping into the unit for various reasons is a cause for concern for most, most of the time leaving a device bricked and good as dead. Apple’s patent, titled “Liquid expulsion from an orifice” offers a novel solution to the problem. The iPhone 7 rendering looks like a standard metal slate.
With the iPhone 7 most likely to be out by September 2016, rumors are expected to continue pouring in so check back frequently to see for the latest possible updates here. The iPhone 7 will need to give consumers a significant step up in all areas of the user experience if it’s to compete with forthcoming smartphones such as the HTC M10 and Galaxy S7. An overwhelming 54% in our reader survey said they’d be quite happy if Apple didn’t decide to release a smaller-screened device, with another 17% sitting on the fence on the matter. However, Apple appears to be taking the threat of smartphone market commoditization seriously that it has been innovating to keep iPhones in their own class. “We also look at the number of people that have upgraded, that were in the install base prior to iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, and that number is in the low 30 percentages, so we feel like we have a very open field in front of us”.
Sadly, Kuo believes the iPhone 6c will not feature Apple’s 3D Touch technology.

A second analyst is predicting that Apple will release a 4-inch iPhone by itself before the middle of next year. The battery life and the improved camera of the iPhone 6s is what makes it stand out.
