Lowly 76ers beat Suns 111-104 for 2nd win of season
Phoenix Suns guard Eric Bledsoe will have surgery Tuesday to fix a torn meniscus in his left knee.

Phoenix Suns head coach Jeff Hornacek could be fired in the midst of a 5-15 stretch that bumped the team to 12-20 on the season. Those that own Bledsoe should stash him on the bench and tentatively explore other options in the event of a long-term absence.
Bledsoe had surgery to remove damaged meniscus in 2014, and that sidelined him for more than two months.
Brook Lopez had 19 points and 11 rebounds for the Nets, who lost their sixth straight home game. He succeeded in all three pursuits, but the NBA and the team’s ownership lost its nerve midway through the third lost season and chose to bring in basketball lifer Jerry Colangelo to help make The Process a little more palatable.
Smith, a six-year veteran who has played for nine teams – including the Suns – was acquired in a trade on Thursday. In comparison to last season, the Suns hadn’t lost 20 games until January 25th.
Hornets 98, Grizzlies 92 – Kemba Walker scored 11 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter, and host Charlotte held off Memphis.
Clippers 109, Jazz 104 – J.J. Redick scored 25 points and Paul Pierce had 20 to lead Los Angeles over host Utah.
But Philadelphia reclaimed the lead behind Stauskas, who hit two key 3-pointers and a long jumper, the last bucket with 40 seconds left in the third. Carmelo Anthony returned the lineup after missing a loss at Cleveland on Wednesday with a sprained ankle and had 18 points and 12 rebounds. Gerald Green scored 15 points, and Bosh also had 10 rebounds.
Isaiah Canaan led all scorers with 22 points while making 4 of 8 three-pointers. But his late surge made it a three-point deficit heading into the fourth quarter and the Raptors opened the quarter with a 17-2 run to go ahead by 13 when Ross sank a 3-pointer with 5:56 remaining.

James missed his first four shots, had six points at halftime and didn’t play in the fourth quarter. With guard Eric Bledsoe expected to miss time with a knee sprain, things could get worse before they get better, and it could cost Hornacek his position.
