Lowry, DeRozan lead Raptors to 105-99 win over Cavaliers

Irving said he was looking forward to the conference finals matchup with Lowry, who averaged 31 points in three games against Cleveland during the regular season and torched the Cavs for 43 in a win on February 26. The guard has been suspended for one match for striking Biyombo in the groin during the closing stages of Saturday’s match. The fine amounts to $80, but don’t worry – James’s lifetime contract with Nike could pay him over a billion dollars, so he should be able to cover it.

Kyle Lowry scored 35 points, including a driving layup in the final minute, and DeMar DeRozan had 32 as the Toronto Raptors evened the Eastern Conference Finals by beating the Cleveland Cavaliers 105-99 in Game 4 on Monday night.

Lebron James was still there for Cavaliers.

The Raptors didn’t go the free throw line once in the first half – a rare occurrence. His talent is best displayed when he isn’t forcing his game. Obviously, no player is immune to bad games, but LeBron James admitted that when two of the team’s Big Three are struggling, he needs to take the burden onto himself, per cleveland.com’s Joe Vardon.

“It’s a long series”, Raptors coach Dwane Casey said as quoted by Greenfield Reporter.

“If you dont foul him hard, hes going to get an and-one and a three-point play, ” Lue said. He’s not playing tonight, and I doubt he’ll be ready for Game 5 (high ankle sprains are a bear to recover from, and there’s little medicine can do to speed healing), but Friday night…maybe.

“I really don’t get involved in it too much”, James said, according to ESPN. “He’s still pretty sore, but we’re going to wait and see”.

The Raptors will go as far as their backcourt takes them. But the Cavaliers, who’d made just three of their 22 three-point shots in the first half started hitting from long distance, and when Irving drained two straight, he pointed at Drake as he ran back upcourt.

As Cleveland’s reserves were putting the finishing touches on the 115-84 blowout Tuesday night, raising the unblemished Cavs to 9-0 in these playoffs, Irving danced along the sideline to the delight of a smiling LeBron James, who looked like a proud older brother.

Casey was upset at the referees after the game, complaining that Biyombo wasnt getting calls and citing Clevelands 86-51 edge in free throw attempts in the series. He is going to need to have a similar performance in Game 4.

Don’t miss out on any of tonight’s action, and make sure you know the upcoming games on the National Basketball Association schedule.

The Raptors believe. When Toronto got here after the slogs through IN and Miami, nobody gave them a chance.
