Houston, who was named after former Green Bay Packers quarterback Bart Starr, will take to the field where Starr became famous. Especially if the player leaping in played for LSU and found a section of Wisconsin fans.

Spread: LSU started the week favored by 10 points. Running back Corey Clement looks to be back to his 2014 form after an injury hampered him most of last season. If you remember though, there was a young pup on the Tigers’ sideline.

How to beat LSU: If last season’s LSU losses are the blueprint, build an early lead and force the Tigers out of their comfort zone of relying on superstar Leonard Fournette and the power running game.

However, if a single LSU player jumps into the stands (in the near impossible event they score on Wisconsin) they’ll be hitch hiking back to Louisiana. Dare Ogunbowale was the leading rusher with just 819 yards.

UW managed a combined 32 yards on its final five possessions and the defense wore down and surrendered four consecutive scoring drives as the Tigers rallied for a 28-24 victory.

It’s fixing to get ferocious between two terrific batches of front sevens, folks. Green Bay police expect people will be parking about a mile away from Lambeau.

The Badgers are coming off a 10-3 record a year ago, with two of their losses coming by a combined 10 points.

“Of course we have a good schedule playing LSU”, starting inside linebacker Chris Orr said.

LSU leaps into the 2016 season as the No. 5 team in the AP preseason poll against Wisconsin at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Lambeau Field with 17 returning starters following a rare spring and summer of zero off-field issues, disciplinary suspensions or dismissals.

My belief is that this will be a very well-played game and could be one of the biggest highlights of the loaded weekend. And I’ll take a blueberry old fashioned, please. That’s an unenviable task even for a defense that’s fresh.
