Lucasfilm Announces Star Wars ‘Roar for Change’ Campaign

One year it was an ad from the “Empire” condemning Star Wars day while another year had R2-D2 teaming up with NASA to celebrate the day.

If the new Star Wars trilogy hasn’t been exciting enough, the recent launch of various comic books – majority pretty rad – have fleshed out stories not seen in the movies.

Force Friday may not be for another few months, but that’s not the only Star Wars special occasion out there, as Amazon joins in for the May 4 special.

Star Wars is an incredible movie franchise and the more people that are educated about it, the greater impact it has in our culture.

Reports also indicate that Solo: A Star Wars Story also performed quite well in one of the unaided awareness brand surveys where it received a score of 28.

However, despite all of the more recent news from the galaxy far, far away, I would like to throw it back a notch and show off some of the best Star Wars games ever made (in my opinion).

Sadly, this year marks the first since the death of actress Carrie Fisher, who played the iconic role of Princess Leia in the films.

The first large organised event took place in 2011 at the Toronto Underground Cinema. Fans around the world modified the phrase to create the pun – May the Fourth Be With You!
