The Indianapolis Colts today announced that Quarterback Andrew Luck incurred abdominal injuries during Sunday’s victory over the Denver Broncos. We’re going to keep listening to the doctors and evaluating his progress on a week-to-week basis. “We’ve been through a lot in this 2015 season, but I know that this will galvanize us, if you will, even more as a football team”.
Luck and Allen play different positions, and it is not clear whether the severity of their injuries is the same, league sources told Werder. Plus they have backup Matt Hasselbeck, who won to games for them, completing 63 percent of his passes with three touchdowns and no interceptions in the two games.
Hasselbeck has already filled in for Luck for two games this season, leading the Colts to wins over the Jaguars and Texans. He was hit hard and often throughout the game.
Just one week earlier, Pittsburgh lost starting running back Le’Veon Bell to a season-ending knee injury.
The Colts will probably be looking for another veteran quarterback to take over the No. 2 spot.
“They say he can come back in 2-6 weeks”. It is certainly not an ideal situation in Indianapolis right now, but the Colts will need to find ways get wins without Luck once again.
If ever Indianapolis was going to get a firm idea of who exactly they have as their head coach, it will be over this next month of games without their superstar under center.
