One lucky customer appears to have received their rose gold-coloured iPhone 6S already, and has done the honourable thing by providing benchmark results. The images of the box are identical to the ones that were leaked earlier. She ordered the phone through AT&T, and in a tweet of its own, the company congratulated the new owner and didn’t seem to mind they had delivered her new phone earlier than expected.

As you can see from the images below (click the thumbnails for the full size versions), the Apple A9 chipset in the iPhone 6s is unsurprisingly faster than its predecessors.

We’ll be on the lookout for more iPhone 6s handsets arriving early, and of course, if you get yours ahead of Friday’s release, we’d love to hear from you.

Moreover, to further underline the difference, John Poole Geekbench’s developer also said on Twitter that “the iPhone 6s and the entry-level 2015 MacBook have approximately the same Geekbench scores”.

As 9to5mac highlights, there’s pretty convincing photographic evidence that this is genuine: photos include the iPhone 6S itself and its slick packaging.

The most interesting, however, are the iPhone 6s benchmark scores as the user has already shared Geekbench results from the device.
