‘Lucky’s Tale’ To Come As A Free Game On The Oculus Rift
In contrast to Oculus’ more realistic offerings like Eve: Valkyrie, a game the company says will be included for free with every Oculus Rift pre-order, Lucky’s Tale seems to be a throwback to classic 3D platformers like Banjo Kazooie, Super Mario 64 and Crash Bandicoot. Palmer Luckey, the inventor of Oculus Rift, has said that Lucky’s Tale was one of the “defining experiences in VR” for him. He knew Oculus was going to be something great, and had Playful Corp. run prototypes of 40 games in VR before even starting to work on Lucky’s Tale. “Lucky’s Tale delivers on everything you want in a next-generation VR game – it’s thrilling, full of adventure, and incredibly fun to play”.
