Luis Enrique tries to forget his Madrid days: “Next question”
Barcelona coach Luis Enrique believes his current squad is the strongest he has ever had and he is very confident of retaining the La Liga and King’s Cup titles.

Barcelona coach Luis Enrique said on Tuesday that he now has the best Barca squad since his arrival at the football club three years ago, and stressed that the door is still open to include another forward.
In that final – mythical for all Barcelonistas – Johan Cruyff’s dream team played Sampdoria, and for that reason the Italians have been invited to play in the annual Gamper friendly.
The Spanish champions have recruited Andre Gomes, Samuel Umtiti, Lucas Digne and Denis Suarez since the end of last season while Marc Bartra, Thomas Vermaelen, Adriano Correia and Sandro Ramirez have departed.
“All the new players have settled in well”.
Luis Enrique also spoke about future signings as the team needs an attacker to provide cover for the three superstars – Messi, Neymar and Suarez, and also a right back to replace Dani Alves.
“We have reinforced the squad brilliantly”, Luis Enrique told reporters.
He added: “While the window remains open, we are ready to strengthen our squad”.
“At all times we want to improve the squad, when an opportunity appears that is intelligent for the club”.

It took Luis Enrique’s men five minutes to double their tally, with Sampdoria’s backline again rather falling asleep when Ivan Rakitic lofted a ball over the top for Messi to coolly round Viviano and tap home.
