Luis Suarez Hits Out at Filipe Luis Over Instagram Photo
Barcelona striker Luis Suarez has hit back at Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis’ instagram post showing his foot injury.

‘Football is for men, ‘ the ex-Liverpool striker said.
Suarez is no stranger to controversy, having twice served bans for biting opponents, while he was involved in a racist incident with Patrice Evra. The Barcelona star clashed with Atletico defender Luis in the 83rd minute of Wednesday’s 1-1 draw between Barca and Atletico Madrid at Camp Nou. During the game, Suarez and Luis went for a loose ball, and Suarez landed his studs on the Brazilian’s right foot.
And after the match, Luis posted a picture of the damage with the sarcastic caption: ‘At least he didn’t touch me!’
The Uruguayan has dismissed his rivals complaint though, saying: “Football is for men”. Nevertheless, he has a point about players sharing too much on social media, as evidently there isn’t much of a code about keeping things on the pitch unless genuine action is required.
Ivan Rakitic opened the scoring for the Spanish champions but Luis Enrique’s side pulled level through Angel Correa.

However, this is not the first time he has come under criticism online – last year, Valencia defender Aymen Abdennour, who bore the brunt of Suarez’s tackle during their 1-1 draw against the Catalan giants, also posted a pic on Instagram.
