Luke Cage Is Stronger Than A Speeding Bullet In First Clip
Happily, Netflix refreshes its offerings every month, and September will bring the usual mix of movies and TV series that the streaming service is either offering for the first time or bringing back after some time away.

A Netflix adaptation of Marvel’s Iron Fist will follow in 2017, with Game of Thrones’ Finn Jones cast as the title character, a martial arts expert. While he is impervious to gunshot wounds, his hoodie and jacket aren’t, leading him to lament, “I’m about sick of always having to buy new clothes”.
The clip, which expands on the scene that was attached to Marvel’s Daredevil Season 2, sees Luke Cage (Michael Colter) confronting a group of criminals inside a gym. One imagines Cage’s shopping budget is quite hefty as it’s not like he can just walk around with bullet holes in all of his shirts.
At one point in the comics, “Sweet Christmas” was Luke Cage’s catch phrase.
Check out the first Luke Cage clip below.
Marvel’s Luke Cage also stars Mahershala Ali, Alfre Woodard, Simone Missick, Theo Rossi, Frank Whaley, and Sônia Braga.

Premiering Friday, Sept. 30 and starring Mike Colter, Luke Cage will detail the evolution of its titular toughie after he has relocated to Harlem and is in the process of picking up the pieces following his failed relationship with Jessica Jones.
