Luke Gatti: Connecticut University Student Arrested For Mac And Cheese Rant
According to UConn’s student newspaper, The Daily Campus, and Connecticut daily, Hartford Courant, the student involved is 19-year-old Luke Gatti who is seen in the clip arguing with the manager, swearing – and even shoving him several times. After shoving the manager, Gatti is tackled by another employee, is arrested by a police officer and spits at the manager before being led out of the building. He uses a gay slur against the manager and repeatedly demands, “Just give me a few (expletive) bacon-jalapeno mac and cheese”.

While he has not officially been kicked out of the school, Barstool Sports published several student snapchats which show Gatti moving out of his dorm on Tuesday with the help of a man who appears to be his father.
University of Connecticut spokeswoman Stephanie Reitz would not confirm or deny the expulsion to the Hartford Courant, citing federal student privacy provisions.
The fit lasted 9-minutes and although it didn’t get the UConn student any mac-n-cheese, it did result in him being tossed out of the cafeteria and charged with breach of peace and criminal trespass.
And when the police eventually arrive and handcuff Gatti, he finally realizes his mistake and begins to cry, adding: ‘F***!
In the Sunday night incident, Gatti reportedly entered the on-campus Union Street Market with an open container of alcohol, prompting the staff to refuse to serve him, the Hartford Courant reported.
The video is evident about Gatti being both verbally and physically abusive to the manager. Gatti was a student at the University of Massachusetts – Amhearst a year ago but transferred to UConn after twice getting arrested at his old school.
Speaking generally about the university’s disciplinary process, Reitz said that student offenses are subject to a hearing, the timing of which can depend on the availability of witnesses and other factors.

Gatti was also arrested in September 2014 for disorderly conduct following a raucous party on Phillips Street in Amherst.
