Luke Skywalker’s absence in Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer is ‘no
Many Star Wars fans had only one question after watching the full-length trailer for The Force Awakens last week: Where was Luke Skywalker?

Of course, there’s a good chance we’ve already seen Luke in the trailers. “I can’t wait for you to find out the answer”, teases Abrams, who also says that the process is an “ongoing surreal experience” for him.
Now, someone had finally asked this exact question to the movie’s director, J.J. Abrams who gave what Cinema Blend dubbed as the most “JJ-ish response” to date.
In fact, according to figures from Lucasfilm, the second and final trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens was viewed over 112 million times in the first 24 hours after it was put online.
The official launch trailer for easily one of the most anticipated video games of 2015, Star Wars Battlefront, premiered this week, showcasing a few new characters for multiplayer gameplay! “You tell me, man. You made all this shit up”. Due to the lack of information on why the Jedi was not in the poster, fans have speculated that Skywalker has gone to the dark side, which coincides to the title of the film’s seventh installment. With not only footage of Hoth, but also Tattooine, and the forest moon of Endor, it is fair to say this is everything that the fans of Star Wars wanted to see.
We’re getting a little bit anxious about Luke Skywalker, you guys.
Even before he was given the job of directing the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens, J.J. Abrams has been answering questions about Star Wars.

The film will be released wide Dec. 16 in France, Dec. 17 in the United Kingdom and Dec. 18 in North America. “Our fingers are just very tightly crossed that when people see the movie they’ll like it”.
