Available exclusively on Flipkart, both these smartphones will go on sale during the Flipkart’s Independence Day sale. This is the first time we are seeing Lyf going online exclusive with any of its smartphones.
Lyf Flame 8 has 4.5-inch FWVGA display with 480×854 resolution and is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor. The highlight of the phone has to be the 2,920mAh battery. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm quad-core processor and is paired with 2GB of RAM. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Lyf Flame 8 packs a 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
Subscribers of Reliance Jio’s “free preview” offer who have got their validity extended free of charge can now use these SIM cards in any phones, according to social media and blog reports. The phone has a boxy “Lumia-like” looks. It offers 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded further using a mciroSD card. There’s a 8MP rear camera, just like on Wind 3, but the front camera is bumped up to 5MP on Flame 8.
The smartphone is equipped with 2,920mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough to last up to 370 hours of standby time. As you’d expect it support Reliance Jio 4G LTE and VoLTE as well. The LYF Flame 8 will be available in White, Blue and Black color variants, while the Wind 3 will be available in a Black color variant. There are much better options like Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime or Coolpad Note 3 Lite or Honor Holly.

Reliance Digital is progressively increasing its portfolio of LYF branded smartphones. Back in May, the company launched the Reliance Digital LYF Flame 3 exclusively via HomeShop18. So expect some marketing push and/or deals on these two phones in the coming days.
