Reliance LYF Wind 3 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Both the devices were in the inventory of Flipkart with a “Coming Soon” tag yesterday. These are the first ones to go exclusive on the online store and they are both launched in the budget segment.
The Reliance LYF Wind 3 is 9.4mm thick and weighs 159.2 grams. Wind 3 comes with a 5.5-inch HD (720p) IPS LCD display with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage (with expandable storage up to 32GB). The Handset is powered by a 1.1 GHz Quad Core Qualcomm SnapDragon 210 (MSM8909) Processor with Adreno 304 GPU, that is coupled with 1GB of RAM. The dual SIM smartphone includes 4G LTE and VoLTE support, along with WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and a micoUSB.
The Lyf Flame 8 is a much more affordable option. The phone has a boxy “Lumia-like” looks.
Priced at Rs 4,199, the smartphone features a 4.5-inch (480 x 854) FWVGA display. The storage though is restricted to 8GB with microSD support up to 128GB. It comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash along with a 2MP front facing camera. The device is powered by a 2,000 mAh battery, which may look like a small one but it should be good enough to power this device with such specs.
Lyf Wind 3 will retail for Rs 6,999 and Lyf Flame 8 will cost you Rs 4,199. Neither of the phones are the best (or close to the best) in their categories. Not to forget, the main USP of the device is the Jio 4G offer that comes bundled with it.

Reliance LYF Wind 3 and Flame 8 smartphones: Reliance LYF has silently launched a two new affordable 4G VoLTE smartphone in its Wind and Flame Series in India – the LYF Wind 3 and Flame 8. The Flame is available in White, Blue and Black colors while the Wind is available in Black color only.
