” U.S. Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch is scheduled to testify before the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, where Republican lawmakers will continue their effort to question her regarding the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a personal email server while she was secretary of state”.
Lynch, who accepted the recommendation of FBI Director James Comey last week with no questions asked, offered no insight during her testimony and repeatedly refused to provide lawmakers with answers to their queries.
Instead, she says Bill Clinton talked “at length” about his grandchildren. But Ms. Lynch gave no indication that she would be more forthcoming about the F.B.I.’s reasoning on the Clinton email issue.

Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.), the panel’s chairman, ripped the decision during his opening remarks as having “defied logic and the law”. “But Secretary Clinton is not facing prosecution for her actions”. Since then, several high-profile incidents have occurred between minorities and law enforcement, including the high profile deaths of several African Americans while in police custody or during arrest – an issue Lynch has promised to tackle.
Rep. Gohmert: Ok, well, if you’re not going to answer the question…

She said it was an unscheduled encounter and the two did not discuss the Hillary Clinton email investigation, but Lynch also expressed regret and acknowledged the meeting had “cast a shadow” on the public perception of the Justice Department’s independence.
