Highways England said the M20 eastbound carriageway is open, one lane is still closed past the scene of the incident.
Engineers are expected to clear the bridge on Sunday to reopen the main route to the the Channel Tunnel after severe travel disruption ver the start of the Bank Holiday.
The bridge came down between junctions three and four, near the Borough Green area, shortly after noon on Saturday when a digger being transported on the back of a lorry collided with it.
A motorcyclist was hurt but his injuries are not life-threatening and the driver of the second lorry had to be treated for shock.
The M20, one of two motorways that link London with the cross-Channel port of Dover and the nearby Eurotunnel terminal, is due to reopen around 12:00 BST.
Sussex motorists who are travelling to Kent are being told the M20 motorway will be shut until at least this afternoon.
“We stopped afterwards for about 30 minutes, and there was another auto with a family behind us”.
Highways England’s website warning said: “All emergency services are en-route or in attendance.”
“The side I’m on, the bridge is still hanging, and obviously the traffic has been stopped”.
The man, estimated to be in his 50s, was hospitalized with suspected broken ribs, the South East Coast Ambulance Service said.

“Police are treating this as a major incident and the M20 has been closed in both directions to allow this incident to be dealt with. Traffic will be heavier than usual”.
