Macaulay Culkin pops up as ‘Home Alone’ character in surprising comedy sketch
It’s rough, like never being able to watch Home Alone ever again rough. Is it the feeling Macaulay Culkin is exorcising some genuine feelings? The first episode, which is available on YouTube, clocks in at just over five minutes but packs a serious nostalgia punch as Culkin appears to be reprising his most beloved character.

Macaulay Culkin has revealed how Kevin McCallister turned out – but be warned, it isn’t pretty. The series, which is modeled after Uber and Lyft, follows Dishel playing a character who, in each episode, will be a passenger interacting with a odd driver.
“It’s fucking Christmas time, and you’re whole family goes on vacation, right?” he says.
“They remembered my bastard of a brother, but forget me, the cutest f-king 8-year-old in the universe”, he adds. Kevin McCallister was an 8-year-old child, abandoned by his family, home alone, and threatened. “You’re all by yourself in your house for a week”, he says, noting that he had to fend off “two psychopath home invaders”.
“For me, I just thought it was hilarious to explore the idea of that guy, who under any kind of real world circumstances would be absolutely traumatized by his experience”, creator Jack Dishell said. When a would-be carjacker approaches, Culkin turns the tables – and that’s when he really gets to show off his dark side.
