If MacBook Air 2016 would in fact be available as early as late October, expect only some few meaningful changes.

Instead, they release their products earlier so they could have the market to themselves and thereby draining the market for companies who have later release dates like Apple. What most people are hoping for is the battery life to stay as good as it is on the current model.
The new MacBook appears quite similar to the MacBook Air, but it is more portable and slimmer.
It would also be thinner than all other Apple laptops – or any laptop at that – with about 11.5 mm thickness.

Also, this MacBook is equipped with DDR4 support, making data transfer move more quickly while using less energy. Since the MacBook Air was just launched, that leaves little time for Apple to actually make these changes. Although we don’t think it will impact the performance of the MacBook Pro that much.
