When Apple’s CEO Tim Cook received an email from a Macrumors reader, he reportedly answered back with quite a general yet intriguing statement. Rumors suggested that there would be no MacBook Pro until the end of 2016 since Apple is waiting for the availability of Intel Kaby Lake processor in 2017.

Apple fans and customers have been looking forward to seeing the new MacBook Pro 2016. All internals are also expected to receive an upgrade.

Well, there was no MacBook Pro refresh announcement the other day during Apple’s Special event, and so had led to people asking if the company is moving away from the MacBook lineup. Many tech enthusiasts who tuned it to the huge press event last week were expecting that Apple will mention the next iteration of the MacBook Pro.

New models will include a slimmed-down MacBook Pro, iMacs featuring changeable graphics chips, and MacBook Air computers with USB-C ports, Bloomberg has reported.

As Apple fans anticipate the release of the MacBook Pro 2016, rumors about its specs continue to come out.
