MacOS Mojave brings dark mode, better privacy, and more iOS ideas
The new version of the operating system is called macOS 10.14 Mojave. The macOS Mojave can make everything dark with white text-in line with most modern day apps and software. The new navigation sidebar also means it’s easier than ever to explore the Mac App Store.

DARK MODE. Craig Federighi shows off Dark Mode on MacOS Mojave. The Dark Mode is created to impact nearly every part of the OS including the windows, files, dock, UI, top bar, and even the desktop.
WatchOS: The Apple’s Watch new update, i.e watchOS 5 will bring pretty cool features for the watch. Unlike the Dark Mode introduced in Yosemite 2014 back, this re-introduced feature, turns the entire desktop interface dark. Furthermore, the developer also noticed a new Apple News app icon in the hidden video, indicating that a desktop app is also in the offing. That does not make for a huge improvement but nonetheless does make the browser look a lot more interesting. In 2016, Google said its Android mobile app store would run on the company’s Chrome OS for personal computers, getting a similar thumbs-up from developers. For example, in the morning, the colour of your stock desktop wallpaper will have brighter scenes, and during the night it will be changed to a darker coloured scene.
The new Dark Mode transforms a users desktop to a darker colour scheme, putting the focus on user content while controls recede into the background.
Users can customise their Stacks to sort based on other file attributes like date and tags.
You can keep your desktop clean with the new stacking feature which will automatically stack the content depending on the type. The sidebar will display EXIF information of the selected image. Voice Memos is an uber-popular default iOS app that allows users to quickly record audio snippets.
One of Apple’s new additions in iOS 12 might give some app developers something to worry about. Again, this isn’t complete because it doesn’t account for what apps are used via Wi-Fi connection. Another new feature will allow the autofilling of one-time passwords provided by authentication apps.
The last big feature of macOS Mojave is a completely redesigned Mac App Store. The screenshot tool has been updated to include video capture.
As such, Apple’s News app will deliver the news in a way that is specifically Apple (which Pickr has a feed in), while Voice Memos will let you access the voice memos across devices that are stored in the cloud.
A number of apps from developers, including Office 365 from Microsoft and Lightroom CC from Adobe will also soon find their way into the Mac App Store. Safari also presents each Mac in a simplified way, so that when users browse the webs, all Macs look the same. A public beta will launch in the coming weeks, followed by a full release this fall with the next crop of iPhones. The update comes with a host of new features like interactive notifications, Walkie-Talkie style of communication, smarter Siri and more.
