Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2015 – Balloons & Floats Information

From a simple, citywide celebration, the thanksgiving parade has become a grandiose event where more than giant floats roam the streets of NY, and several notable celebrities and artists perform. With 8,000 participants-clowns, balloon handlers, marching bands, etc.-it’s a spectacle that’ll keep you occupied until it’s time for appetizers and schmoozing with distant relatives.

President Barack Obama sought to reassure Americans on Wednesday they’re protected to take to roads, trains and planes over the vacation. Raven Industries’ Aerostar division in South Dakota has produced more than 90 large balloons for the parade over the years, according to the Associated Press.

Thousands gathered in NY for an annual holiday tradition, watching as crews inflate the massive balloons that will fill the air during Thursday’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
