Madonna makes surprise visits to Manila children’s shelters
Those attending the second night of Madonna’s Rebel Heart concert in Manila are in for a treat – a little spy just told us that she’s rehearsed “Crazy For You” and “Dress You Up” and “Lucky Star” a few minutes ago.

“Why is the Catholic Philippines the favourite venue for blasphemy against God and the Holy Mother?” he asked.
Madonna’s Rebel Heart tour has certainly been a fruitful experience for Madonna and her fans have, of course, loved the icon’s performance.
“I admonish the faithful to be wary of the subtle attacks of the evil one”, Arguelles said.
In 2012, Arguelles opposed the Manila concert of Lady Gaga as the work of Satan.
“Hats off to the Bahay Tulyan Foundation in Manila for taking so many kids off the street and providing food and shelter!” she wrote as a caption.
Shelter officials were told Monday that Madonna’s dancers were going to visit, but they didn’t find out the star herself was coming until an hour before her arrival, Bahay Tuluyan deputy executive director Catherine Scerri said.
The Philippine newspaper predicted that Madonna’s ticket sales wouldn’t be dented by the archbishop’s admonition.
She, however, dropped both “Like a Prayer” and “Who’s That Girl?” which she performed on the first night. The singer Instagrammed about the experience and gratitude she has for the shelters that take in these children that are so in need of a safe place.
“The children were very happy to see her. She played with them, danced with them and chatted with them”, Flordelis said. In the wealthy neighbouring city state of Singapore, where Madonna is scheduled to perform on Sunday, Catholic leaders have also expressed grave concern.
He reminded Catholics that it was their “moral obligation not to support those who denigrate and insult religions, including anti-Christian and immoral values promoted by the secular world”, The Straits Times reported.
