Evan Fournier isn’t going anywhere.

Restricted free agent Evan Fournier has agreed to a five-year, $85 million deal to remain with the Orlando Magic, multiple media outlets reported Friday.
Last year was Fournier’s second season with the Magic and he ended up having a career year by averaging 15.4 points while shooting 46.2 percent and 40 percent from three. Earlier this week, the Magic extended a qualifying offer to Fournier in order to be able to match any offers he received. He was drafted 20th overall in 2012 by the Denver Nuggets but struggled to find playing time on a 57-win team.
Fournier will likely be the starting shooting guard for the Magic thanks to the departure of Victor Oladipo to the Oklahoma City Thunder. He shot a stellar 46.2 percent from the floor and a scorching hot 40 percent from long range on almost five attempts per game.

Sources said the Clippers wanted Green back for a multi year contract but with the capped out franchise, Green wanted to finalize the one year deal. And after less than one full day of free agency, it’s clear the talented guard will be a fixture of the future for Frank Vogel’s team, too.
