Magical Night at Pittsford Barnes and Noble for New Harry Potter Release
Speaking to press at the opening of the play in London yesterday, J.K. Rowling said “Harry is done now”. “It’s weird to think that he’s now 36 years old, so I’m excited to see what new adventures they have, how he’s grown, and what his kids are up to”.

J.K. Rowling’s long-awaited “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” was set for release just after midnight last night, with bookstores all over the world hosting late-night release parties.
Fans have been encouraged not to share spoilers by creator, JK Rowling.
“I’m thrilled to see it realised so beautifully but, no, Harry is done now”.
Rowling says she’s delighted that theatergoers who saw the play in previews have heeded calls not to spill its secrets.
Whitcoulls head of books Joan MacKenzie said the different format was unlikely to deter fans.
The last time fans saw Harry, he and his son Albus Severus were waiting for the Hogwarts Express at King’s Cross Station.
“I just sit down with him and I just enjoy the movies and hearing Paul reading and telling me events about the books and things about Harry Potter”, said Maricel Gonzalez, mother of fan Paul Lewis.
And when it was announced that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child would run in the West End, many hoped that Rowling would pick up her quill once more to expand the series further. “This is the next generation, you know”, Rowling told Reuters during an interview at the play’s premiere in London.
She said: “It is the most extraordinary fandom so I’m kind of not surprised they didn’t want to spoil it for each other but I’m so happy we got here without ruining it”.

The book went on sale throughout the country at 11.01am and despite being a reprinted rehearsal script – rather than a novel – it is the most anticipated book of the year. Director John Tiffany also gets credit for the book adaptation of the stage play.
