It has been reported that the initial natural disaster near the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Niles Canyon Road was followed by eight aftershocks – the strongest of which measured 2.7.

The 4.4 quake happened Monday afternoon, its epicenter located just nine miles east of Cherokee, Oklahoma near the border with Kansas.
There was also a report of power flickering during the event.
A second quake was reported at 3:50 p.m. registering a 3.2 magnitude about five miles west-northwest of Pawnee, Oklahoma and another 4.0 magnitude quake was recorded near Cherokee at 3:54 p.m.
Shortly before 3:55 p.m., a 4.0-magnitude natural disaster shook nearby the earlier natural disaster in Alfalfa County, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The strongest Oklahoma natural disaster on record is a 5.6 quake centered in Prague in November 2011.
No immediate reports of injury or damage were reported from the three earthquakes.

But another Twitter user, JRehling, was less alarmed, writing: ‘That was the first natural disaster I’ve felt in San Francisco since the Napa quake in August 2014.
