Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Haryana, Tremors In Delhi And Gurgaon

A moderate natural disaster jolted Delhi and parts of the national capital region (NCR) late on Saturday evening, causing some people to come out into the open.

No casualty has been reported so far. The tremors were felt for at least 30 seconds. Across North India, there are also no reports of the quake causing any panic or otherwise disrupting normal life.

Map of Jhajjar, the epicenter of the quake. On 22nd August, a medium intensity quake measuring 3.5 on Richter scale had hit Haryana on Monday, with tremors being felt across Delhi-NCR and neighbouring areas as well.

Meanwhile, no official reaction has come from any source, whether it is the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) or the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Jhajjar is located some 120 km from the national capital.
