Mahindra launches new Bolero priced at Rs 6.59 Lakhs
The new Bolero’s engine delivers 13% more power and 5% more mileage compared to the existing Bolero. Hence, they have introduced the new Bolero Power+ with the mhawkD70 engine, which is created to deliver power, mileage, and an elegant driving experience. Dual tome interiors complement exterior style. The Bolero, first launched in August 2000, has been long popular in rural markets throughout the country.

Talking about power figures, the current Bolero is powered by a 2.5-litre m2DiCR diesel motor that registers 63PS of max power and 195Nm of torque.
Inside, the Bolero Power+ gets an engine immobilizer, new music system, and a voice messaging system. With the new offering, the company hopes to heighten appeal among the core and new buyers, said Pravin N. Shah, president and chief executive, automotive division at Mahindra and Mahindra.
According to company sources, the new Bolero Power+ series offers 5 percent improved mileage than the now available Bolero.

The Bolero Power+ features Mahindra’s Micro Hybrid technology on the ZLX variant, which increases the fuel efficiency of the SUV. This technology allows the vehicle to intelligently switch the engine into the standby mode, when not required – ensuring lower fuel consumption while being more environment-friendly too. The SUV features the same 7-seater configuration but with better cushioning to support the body contours. The New Bolero Power+ is claimed by the company to be more manoeuvrable, making weaving in and out of traffic a breeze. The New Bolero Power+ with the mHawk engine will be available in 3 variants – SLE, SLX & ZLX across Mahindra dealerships pan India, at an aggressive price of Rs.6.59 lakhs (ex-showroom Navi Mumbai for SLE BS4 variant). Colour options available for the Mahindra New Bolero are – Diamond White, Rocky Beige, Java Brown and Silver.
