Mahindra Launches The Scorpio With Intelli-Hybrid Technology
India’s leading SUV manufacturer, announced the launch of its new mild hybrid technology “Intelli-Hybrid” on the New Generation Scorpio.

The Intelli-Hybrid technology comes with the 2.2 Litre mHAWK engine, and will be available across all the trim levels. This means that potential customers in Delhi will not be able to get one. The Scorpio Intelli Hybrid also benefits from this and the pricing reflects it as well. However, this will not be an all-electric vehicle and will offer a mild electrical boost to the engine under certain driving conditions. Due to being exempt from the odd-even scheme in Delhi and the ongoing diesel ban, the off-take for the mild hybrids have increased in the Delhi-NCR region. Additional details about the upgraded version will be known in the coming days. It also automatically switches the engine off while the vehicle is stationary mode.
This new tech is much more advanced than the Micro-Hybrid tech which is now on offer with Mahindra cars.
Christened as the Mahindra Scorpio Intelli-Hybrid, the technology makes its way into the 2.2-litre engine option version of the SUV and the vehicle is now priced at Rs. 12.84 lacs ex-showroom, Navi Mumbai for the top-of-the-line S10 2WD manual transmission variant.

Pravin Shah, Mahindra & Mahindra said, “By reducing fuel consumption, Intelli-Hybrid helps Scorpio owners contribute towards a cleaner and greener tomorrow”.
