BioWare‘s new sci-fi game may have suffered its first leak of insider info, including details of the bad guys and Mako customisation.

It may be a few time before we can really confirm any of the details from the supposed Mass Effect: Andromeda leak that took place over the weekend.
The leak appeared on Reddit, the people behind the post say they have been in contact with an individual with a very early edition of the game, however it is unclear just how true this new information. Like the Normandy, this new ship will also have a central meeting room where players can interact with squadmates and plan missions.
The first one is that there will continue to be the squad-based set-up found in all previous Mass Effect games. “Mass Effect Andromeda” may have better graphics as the same leak indicated that the characters carry more distinct facial features. Two squad members mentioned are a human blond female and a Krogan.
Taking into account the timing of the post, it would be worth noting that the game isn’t scheduled for launch until holiday 2016 and has so far remained under wraps at developers BioWare. This has been compared to jetpacks available to players in Titanfall, which we’re hoping offers more tactical depth to combat, like vertical combat.
Ship travel now involves you flying your craft manually, instead of using the old galaxy map.
You can also explore planet surfaces in the Mako, which could be customisable.
The video mentions the main character, who is referred to as “The Pathfinder”, and the game’s story revolving around humanity and numerous other races trying to find a new home.
As for the storyline it seems that Cerberus might be making another appearance, while the main enemy are a bipedal cross between Vorcha and Collectors.
According to Eurogamer, in one of the leaked videos, a dogtag with the name “Ryder/Rider” can be seen on the left side of the dashboard of the ship travelling in the Andromeda galaxy. They’ve also confirmed that the Mako land vehicle will be back and that planetary exploration is once again a large part of the game. Enemies apparently drop into combat from Cerberus ships. Even he thinks this is a placeholder, but he can’t be sure.
