Main Dominica airport remains closed following tropical storm

Repairs to roads and bridges throughout the Japanese Caribbean Island will complete greater than $226 million, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit stated.

The National Hurricane Center is now giving the system a 30% chance of redevelopment into a tropical depression or tropical storm. They took 1.2 tons of medications, disposable items and other medical resources needed for their work. “We are dedicated to locating those who are still missing”. The storm triggered floods and mudslides on August, 27 that killed at least 31 people. In the aftermath, nine communities have been declared “Special Disaster Areas” and 35 persons have been confirmed dead with many still missing and hundreds of families left homeless.
