Main villain revealed; Batman will be ‘freaking scary’

We’re mere weeks away from the debut of the David Ayer-directed film, the latest in the DC expanded universe following Batman v Superman.

Recently, we came across more details on the movie’s act 1 in Midway City. “And I think we kind of nailed it. It’s sort of related to the bad guy stuff and the bad guy stuff is very much a sealed, locked box”. According to reports, in the upcoming “Suicide Squad” movie, she will finally cut her ties with the good and fully embrace the dark side, making her the villain to the group of villains, otherwise known as the Suicide Squad. And then you have to share that with the rest of your squad as well.

The movie will also help DC take on Marvel, which was also helped by Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice earlier this year. Pre-release tracking actually suggests that the movie could open even higher, possibly at $135 million on its opening weekend, depending on what box office analyst you speak to. The movie run time for “Suicide Squad” will be at least 130 minutes, which is 2 hours and 10 mins.

Ayer continued, “If you look at what Bruce Wayne has done in creating the Batman persona, his idea was to terrorize criminals”. This wraith that comes in the night and attacks and culls criminals from society.

Among all the characters that have been revealed until now, Jared Leto’s Joker is one of the most likely ones. Suicide Squad hits theaters on August 5. Not only has it a superlative and vast ensemble, including the likes of Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Will Smith, Cara Delevingne, Common, Jai Courtney, Ben Affleck, and Viola Davis, but it’s arguably now the most important film for the studio and DCEU moving forward.

David Ayer, known for his gritty cop and war movies, such as Fury and Training Day, is directing this epic ensemble, which stars some of today’s biggest Hollywood heavyweights, including Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Jared Leto.
