“It is unethical for me to release my film on this date as Shah Rukh has already announced his movie”, the Times of India quoted him as saying. This means after Kaabil and Raees, we would see another extreme battle between Hrithik and SRK. But Shah Rukh Khan postponed Raees’ release toJanuary 26 – a date that had already been booked by the Roshans for the release of their upcoming thriller, Kaabil. Roshan clarifies he wasn’t aware that SRK had announced the release of his movie with Aanand L Rai – in which he plays a dwarf – on Christmas 2018. “If they’re coming on precisely the same date I can’t do anything about it”. However, putting all speculations at rest, Rakesh Roshan asserted that both the flicks will not clash.

However, the makers of Krrish 4 have now opted out of the clash. The franchise also stars Rakesh Roshan’s son and Bollywood’s Greek God Hrithik Roshan along with Preity Zinta, Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut who had all appeared in past movies on the franchise. “I don’t know what they will eventually decide”.
