Major League Baseball Monday Houston Astros vs Teas Rangers Start Time Odds
Adrian Beltre became just the fourth player in Major League Baseball history to hit three-career cycles on Monday, and it only took him five innings to do it. We got another reminder that the dude is and has been great at baseball for a long time on Monday night, however, as Beltre hit for his third career cycle.

Adrian Beltre was running full speed ahead on his way to third when he suddenly started spinning his arms to stop his momentum and return to second.
Asked whether he was thinking then about preserving the chance for a cycle, Beltre paused briefly before responding, “Maybe”.
The last Astros player to accomplish the feat was Brandon Barnes on July 19, 2013.
The only other Major Leaguers with three career cycles are Bob Meusel (1921, 1922 and 1928) and John Reilly (twice in 1883 and 1890).
Beltre’s homer off Fiers with one out in the fifth put Texas up 12-7.
“(Beltre) has a presence in our lineup”, manager Jeff Banister told MLB’s official website. The Rangers improved to 5-3 on their 10-game homestand while the Astros kicked off their nine-game road trip with their first loss in three contests.
Beltre is the first player to complete a cycle by the fifth inning since the Tampa Bay Rays’ Melvin Upton Jr. did it in 2009. Jason Castro turned on a fastball from Lewis, placing one inside the right field foul pole for a grand slam, making it 11-7 Rangers.
T.R. Sullivan covered the game and recaps the big moments that led to the Rangers pulling out Colby Lewis’ 12th win of the season.
It was the ninth cycle in Rangers’ history, their sixth since the beginning of the 2009 season, twice as many as any other team in the major leagues in that span – Arizona and Colorado have three each.
Diamondbacks IF Aaron Hill enjoyed two cycles in an 11-day span between June 18 and June 29 during the 2012 season – the shortest amount of time between cycles since the American League has been formed.
Josh Fields threw 1 2-3 scoreless innings in relief of McCullers before Fiers allowed six runs and seven hits over five innings. 600 and. 333 respectively in the team’s last six games.Carlos Correa continues is trek to the Rookie of the Year award, batting.

Of the 42 walk-off home runs hit this season, just two happened with the winning team trailing by more than a single run, and only one capped off a ideal 4-for-4 day. He has allowed run or less in four of his last six outings and three earned runs or fewer in 12 of 13 career starts. I talked about it in the pre-game that Colby Lewis had given up a home run in six straight games and with the Astros coming into town, that could be a problem.
