Miami police spokesman Major Delrish Moss confirmed to The Associated Press that Puig was involved in an argument with his sister Wednesday night at the Blue Martini bar.

Reportedly, Puig sucker punched a bouncer and busted his lip before being restrained by numerous security guards outside the club. Puig suffered a swollen eye and facial bruises during a fight with a bouncer.

Bar staffers immediately rushed over to break it up, but Puig turned on them… getting physical with several staffers.

Major League Baseball plans to investigate, making Puig the second player subject to potential discipline under the sport’s new domestic violence policy.

Meanwhile, the Dodgers have not released a statement on the incident and calls placed to Puig and his representatives have not been returned. The league also is investigating Colorado Rockies shortstop Jose Reyes under the policy after he was charged with domestic abuse in an incident involving his wife.

Meanwhile, Puig has been more of a problem than a solution to the Dodgers’ recent woes since bursting onto the scene.

Limited to 72 games this season because of hamstring injuries, Puig hit.

Last week, former Dodgers outfielder Andy Van Slyke sparked a controversy when he hinted Dodgers $30 million ace Clayton Kershaw wants Puig off the time team while a guest CBS Sports 920 AM.

Moss said Puig was asked by bouncers to leave the bar following the argument.
