Major Matches Announced For Tonight’s WWE Smackdown

This match was ordered by SmackDown bosses Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon as a rematch from their championship encounter last week at Backlash. Heath Slater and Rhyno watched the match backstage while eating Cheez Whiz and crackers. The Usos will face Slater and Rhyno for the titles at No Mercy.

The Miz was livid about having to defend his title against Dolph Ziggler. Corbin won with the End of Days.

Jack Swagger, who was positioned at the commentator’s table, got a stare down from the victor at the end of the contest. Maryse tried to interfere and got tossed from ringside by the referee.

Rowan may have started this match with a big back suplex and a pummeling as he dragged Orton around the ring, but the viper wasn’t going down easy.

The Miz had some words for Daniel Bryan, and majority were rather whingey as he wasn’t keen on defending his IC title on Smackdown that night. Bray Wyatt showed up on the screen with yet another message for Orton.

Next week AJ Styles will defend the WWE World Championship against Dean Ambrose in the main event of WWE Smackdown. However, in the end, Ambrose defeated Cena after the former blocked an Attitude Adjustment and rolled Cena up for the pin. Carmella got her team disqualified right away as she pulled Nikki out of the ring and attacked her on the outside even though Natalya had Nikki in a Sharpshooter at the time. Ambrose, who has recovered by then, came from behind and assaulted Styles.
