Major Ohio paper endorses Clinton after years of backing GOP
“Well they say she’s been practicing for the debate”.

Trump undoubtedly has a passionate base of support, seen clearly among the thousands of backers who fill the stands at his signature rallies.
Across two weeks of data from the tracking poll, a majority (85 percent) identified as heterosexual or straight and 7 percent identified as LGBT-3 percent identified as homosexual, another 3 percent identified as bisexual and 1 percent identified as transgender.
This hard reality is not lost on the president. And she should have removed herself from or restructured the Clinton Foundation after allegations arose that foreign entities were trading monetary donations for political influence and special access. As senator of NY, she earned respect in Congress by working across the aisle and crafting bills with conservative lawmakers.
“One of the most important issues in this election is just making sure that our country has a future both through education and jobs”, said undecided voter Erika Szotek, 43, of Hanover Park, Illinois, who voted for Romney in 2012.
But politics is a team sport, and the alternative of a Hillary Clinton presidency has persuaded most in the GOP that Trump is much the lesser of two evils.
But Obama’s comments acknowledge his personal connection that drove Democrats to the polls four years ago – one Clinton has struggled to match. Any other year, those would be one in the same, but many conservatives have made it clear that in this election, there is apparently a distinction.
He said Friday that Clinton continues to support efforts to “hold accountable those responsible” for the attacks.
Clinton’s campaign has seized on the vulnerability.
Voters are slightly more likely to trust Trump than Clinton on handling gun laws, 39 per cent to 35 per cent. But recent polls have found Clinton is not only shy of Obama’s mark but also well behind John Kerry’s level of support with young voters when he lost in 2004.
With neither candidate a clear favorite on issues like creating jobs or keeping the nation safe, almost a third of uncommitted voters said they may be more likely to vote for a third-party candidate than for either Clinton or Trump.
However, voters’ concern about Clinton’s trustworthiness remains. They came of age during the politically polarized Obama era, leaving them more willing to consider a third-party option. “Part of it is frustration with party gridlock and distrust of institutions”. She was part of President Barack Obama’s inner circle when the decision was made to go after and kill Osama bin Laden and negotiated United Nations sanctions that led to the Iran nuclear deal. “Trump says, ‘Don’t worry, coal miners, I’m coming.’ Voting for that or voting for somebody who wants to close me down is not a choice”.

“The big question for her campaign is, ‘Will voters under 30 turn out?'” Miringoff said.
