Majority don’t want Oprah to run

But Nelson didn’t see Oprah’s Golden Globe speech as precursor to a future campaign. However, Oprah’s spokesperson insisted this never happened.

But, in all honesty, I hope she doesn’t run.

I just don’t know if the personal price would be worth it. Encouraging people to think positively is worthwhile, but Oprah should tell her followers to be skeptical about taking the advice of untrained professionals – including herself. “What Oprah says is, when eleven years later Rosa Parks launches the Montgomery bus boycott, in her heart somewhere is Recy Taylor, is the memory of this person who came forth and sought justice even though it couldn’t be achieved”. She’s been open about her sexual abuse as a child and how it impacted her. We hear the audio for her first audition tape, listen to interviews with the talk-show hosts who reigned on daytime U.S. television in the 1980s, and hear from the producers responsible for the show that would come to make Oprah arguably the most powerful woman in the USA and a household name across the world. “More specifically, Nigeria. I am about as Black as you will ever get”. “I believe a shift is coming”. I think she should stay the showbiz queen that she is, dabbling in movies, running her network and charities.

The Washington Times went with, “Seal accuses Oprah Winfrey of ignoring rumors against Harvey Weinstein: You’re ‘part of the problem'”.

“The press is under siege these days”.

“Ironically, you know who wasn’t invited to the affair?” To tyrants and victims and secrets and lies.

Foreign politics, in particular, is one of the primary domains of the US president.

Spielberg, who directed Winfrey in his 1985 film The Colour Purple, said the actor-turned-TV-mogul would be a unifying figure. And this year we became the stories.

“It’s one that transcends and culture, geography, race, religion, politics or workplace”, she added. Significantly, she has a loyal following among white women and African-American minorities, both of which are crucial alliances for the Democratic party. “I mean, they are two human beings that have billionaire status, very very close to each other in terms of overall net worth”. A substantial 63 percent of Black voters want Winfrey to run, yet just 28 percent of whites and 41 percent of Latinos want her in the 2020 mix.

“We have to really start asking ourselves, what really qualifies someone?” she said.

More and more of us just want to watch the world burn, and universal suffrage comes at a price. Yet friends have said she may be.

Some people, however, disagree that Trump will be able to beat Oprah.

In the days following the original reports against Weinstein, Oprah addressed the allegations on Facebook and said that she was still “processing the accounts of Harvey Weinstein’s disgusting behavior”. Millions, I know, have similar affection for her.
